Honest question: shouldn't things like weapons dropped, lives saved, enemy killed show up in some sort of deployment medal citation (Air Medal, etc.)? If it does, it would make sense to document other AFAF type stuff on OPRs since it won't show up elsewhere if promotion is the concern.

There are a lot of WSOs in your situation. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The text of the article is misleading. If you watch the video of the news clip on the link they say that he had taken a date back to the RT camp to "show her where he worked." The written article makes it sound like it happened during RT. Raises the question of what kind of dude takes a chick to RT on a date.

I'm active Air Force married to an Army reservist. We normally get just the regular 'with dependent' BAH from me. When she's on active duty orders we both get 'without dependent' BAH. But I suppose the guard could be a different ball of wax.
