[Passports]

Has anyone attempted to renew their gov passport within the past 3-4 months?

My passport guy at the sq is telling us the State Dept is rejecting all new and renewal applications due to an 'expired waiver'.....mine was sent in and rejected in August. He's telling us this is a military wide issue and there is no answers from the State Dept, DOD or AF on how to resolve this.

Kinda sounds fishy but wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with any of this.

Plan on getting up at 5am everyday (definitely for the first 2-3 weeks) and marching to the DFAC for breakfast. Then plan on having classes for the rest of the day along with a few drill practices within the first few weeks. After dinner you'll be on your own the rest of the night with 11pm curfew during phase 1 and midnight during phase 2. During the evening, you will have plenty of meetings and academic work to keep you occupied till curfew. The first few weeks suck but get much better as the weeks go on. The last week is a lot of fun with a lot of flight/wing dinners along with graduation. If you want more detailed info, PM and I'll be glad to help ya out.

Is there a specific name for that bonus? And is the only criteria graduating AMS?

I'm going to be talking to my retention folks next week about this and wanted a little info before walking in and demanding 10K.

Has any Dutch/US citizens dealt with joining the military and getting their security clearance?

I'm applying to guard units and if selected, I'd like to retain my dual citizenship.

From my understanding, once someone renounces their Dutch citizenship they lose it forever.

Hoping there's a loophole somewhere.....
