    Yeah it turns out it was just a misunderstanding. I got cleared at MEPS!

    Hey everyone, I'm going to MEPS soon. Originally they DQ'd me because of an allergy to penicillin and sulfa drugs from when I was a baby. I've always put them as medical allergies even though it was a one time deal from when I was very young. Anyway, I went to a doctor and did a test for both drug allergies. I'm no longer allergic to either. My recruiter said MEPS said they would still DQ me, but I could get a waiver. I'm not sure why I would be DQd / need a waiver for something that doesn't effect me. Could it just be a miscommunication between MEPS and my recruiter? Thanks for your time!
