    Changing/Switching airframes

    Back when I was trying to get an F-16 slot, I used to watch Top Gun every time I was flying my airline across the country. It worked, and I got a pretty sweet assignment. A buddy of mine was really into helicopters, but he got stuck driving the bread truck. Still, he made a habit of watching Air Wolf every night before changing into his PJs and dreaming of flying. He heard about how watching Top Gun helped me become a fighter pilot, so he figured the same thing would help him become a badass helo pilot. It didn't work. Good luck!
