  1. I had the G36 slimline for a while. It was ok, but it was still about the size of the Glock 26. I ended up selling to a buddy of mine so I could buy a 1911. The XDs looks appealing, and I'd like to handle and shoot it when it comes out.

    But in the mean time....

I have a dilemma of which to buy, a new 12 ga shotgun or a lever action carbine. I'm in the market for a new firearm and can't make up my mind which to get. I already have a Remington 1187 12 ga, but have been considering a pump action. Anyone have any experience with a pistol caliber leveraction rifle (Marlin, Winchester, Rossi...)?

  2. I have to give props to my wife, here's my winging/birthday gift as well as an addition to my arsenal: a Springfield GI 45 Compact! I’ve already taken it to the range, and 200 WWB rounds through it with no problems. So far it’s pretty accurate with 1-2" groupings at 7yd and 4-5" at 15yds.

Use the image tags surrounding the URL, such as...

    [ I M G ] http://www.photobucket.com/image.jpg [ / I M G ]

Without the spaces in the tags (I had to use them to keep the software running the forum from thinking I was posting a pic).

Of you could click on the photograph icon above the posting area, and simply input the URL there.

Either way will result in the picture inserted in the post...

And anyone else posting in this thread without including a nice pair (as show above) will be appropriately reprimanded! :bash:

  4. Two of my favorites from T-6's were one on cross country enroute to KEFD, the guy ahead of me was talking to approach:

    Approach: Speck 92, Approach

    Speck 92: Go ahead approach

Approach: Speck 92, we are having transmitter problems, will you give us a 5 count for us to check this transmitter?

    Speck 92: Wilco.

Speck 92: 1.. ah ha ha.. 2 ah ha ha...

And as Wing during a Form Solo where the solo had a pressurization malfunction:

Alamo 21 was over pressurizing and was told by the IP flying wing over discrete to select RAM/DUMP on the Px controller. When the IP asked how the stud was doing He replied over uniform: "Alamo 1 is feeling better after the dump."
