  1. Find a Hilux and ship it over. Diesel, good gas mileage (without armor), and pretty damn tough.

US won't allow it. You have a better chance of getting an MRAP on the streets.

Gotta be 25 years or older then it's game on. My 1986 BJ70 is JDM.

  2. I agree they are similar, however I think Lagavulin 16 is less intense than Laphroaig. It has some sweetness to it (sherry) that reduces the smoke/peat to a more palatable level. I don't dislike Laphroaig, but I do prefer Lagavulin. Have you tried Bowmore? It's in the same general group, but even slightly less smoke/peat than Lagavulin. If you're worried about blowing 80 bucks on something you're not sure you'll like, I'd get the Bowmore first and then if you're good with that, try the Lagavulin next.

Big 2 on Lagavulin! Started drinking it at Mac and Marty's on Guam, haven't looked back, damn fine stuff.

  3. Me: I don't know if they'll be taking off post-quiet hours, let me send you the waiver so the OG can approve it before COB and they can get out ASAP

Controller A1C Snuffy: Sir, I can't put a waiver in since it won't have justification if you end up taking off before quiet hours and I'll get in trouble for submitting unnecessary paperwork.

  4. Off to fundies and BFE here soon! SERE to follow at some point... By the remarks in this forum here it should be a BLAST! Any advice other than the run of the mill stuff?

When you get back from the field eat a steak downstairs at Churchills, the piano man will let you sing dirty pilot songs. The bar/spa at the Davenport is nice and so is the cigar lounge at the casino.
