Ha, sure is. I had a mix of white boxers and multi-colored ones and it wasn't problem. But I will say "whitey-tighties" are way easier to fold than boxers are. I'd bring a few pair of each and never touch/wear the whitey-tighties in your drawer. But to each his own.

You can get by with two. You won't get in trouble for only having two but having three of each makes thing easier. Be able to keep one on display at all times and rotate between the other two for days when you have to wear blues.

Unfortunately, don't think it matters one bit PDXCC. Seems to be a "first in, first out" deal with pilot packages sent to the NGB.

No, not having the netting in your PT shorts isn't a big deal. No need to buy new if you don't have to. They are only inspected while folded up inside your pt drawer.
I brought my macbook to AMS but hardly used it. The government laptop provided is connected via ethernet cable to the wall and their isn't wireless. So their isn't really anything to be compatible/incompatible with. You never connect your personal laptop to anything.
You can bring your wedding rings. A lot of guys wore them throughout training. Their is a few days (i.e. the days you complete the Leadership Reaction Course) you can't wear jewelry of any kind. On those days you will just put wedding rings, watches, etc in your security drawer.
