  1. Clearly this is a box you need to check to make Chief/Colonel. Honestly... :banghead:

Unfortunately, most of the comments were supporting the Captain's sentiment. While I agree crisp salutes are great and all, come on, that's what you're gonna put your name to on af.mil? My god...the rationale of people in the comments. If I hear one more time "If you can't salute properly how can we trust you to fly a multi-million dollar airplane?" I will choke that person out.

the one that irked me was the guy comparing this to the Bent Spear incident in 2007....here's to you jack ass :flipoff:

  2. I know a Special Operations helicopter pilot who is missing part of his leg due to a landmine blast. Last I saw of him about 5 years ago, he was a squadron commander...

he was the commander of the 20th SOS when they were at Hurlburt.....he was in the 20th as a Captain while my dad was the 1st Sgt. I just can't remember his name

  3. Made a couple of additions to his Wikipedia page. Most notably added a reference for his military service.

apparently some jackass didn't like your additions and undid them......The PC monsters are at it again

or not....did u do the brilliant little when boxes????

  4. Man I can't believe it has almost been 2 years since we lost these 6 warriors.....I had the pleasure of meeting B-Dub and Fireball in my dad's office at the OG, and they were truly great guys as were the other 4 men. I know they are truly missed by their families and their squadrons as well as everyone else here at Barksdale.....I'll never forget answering the phone night of July 20th(Louisiana time) and hearing the voice of the OG/CC on the other end asking to speak to my dad, then the OG/CEM, it was about 2100 on a Sunday night and by the tone of his voice I could tell it was bad. My dad then came in and told me about it and all I could say was "are you serious?" The next week was the saddest week of my life, seeing the effects of this tragedy on a base and in the community was heart wrenching, especially when driving by the flowers and memorials at the North Gate.....So on this Memorial Day I'd like to honor these men as well as every man and woman in uniform, Thank You for your sacrifice and we will never forget you B-Dub, Fireball, Fonzie, Shaman, Bull, and Doc Martin......
