This river snakes through a steep canyon not too far from OAIX. Some of my favorite scenery and terrain to fly over. Who knows what the real name of the river is - I call it the mighty Colorado River. You can almost picture yourself kayaking through the waters below...

    I recall seeing a similar (probably the same?) river once or twice. I can't remember the location specifics (not important anyway), but I know it wasn't along a routing that we routinely flew, because it definitely stood out...

    I just remember checking out those stretches of rather gnarly rapids and thinking the exact same thing about kayaking/rafting... Cool stuff!
