Fly the Herk, and go see some really strange stuff...

During one of my many TDYs to Thailand, we decided to check out a local tiger zoo on one of our days off. They raised pigs and tigers together there. Very odd, but apparently it works. This was one of the funnier displays there - piglets dressed up as tigers.

My favorite exhibit at that place was paradoxically called "The Happy Family" - it was a large tiger cub, a piglet, and a full-grown Golden Retriever dog all living together in the same rather small and quite damp space. That was the only Golden I ever saw in Asia. Ever. And he didn't look at all pleased with the whole situation, either. "Woof, woof... please shoot me" is how my Nav summed it up. Sounded about right.

Weird, wild stuff. All at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo (not too far from Pattaya), if you are ever in the neighborhood...
