We had 3 different planes go in here in a 2 week span and they all cut tires. They (locals) say it was from the .50 cal shells on the LZ. My response was "remove all .50 cal shells and then there shouldn't be a problem." Don't know of any other problems after that.

My only times in there was for a double-shuttle, and we didn't have any tire issues either time (well, related to .50 cal shells, anyway!). That was summer 05, so maybe they "cleaned up" the LZ enough by that point...
