Here are the notes from our class guinea pigs on their instrument check. Neither of these guys Q2/Q3 but really helped the rest of us coast on through.

Here is a brief "memo" addressed to your IP to help shape your training toward a Q1 on your instrument checkride. Realize in the MPD program you will not do your landing checks until you hit the flightline, but all the items addressed continue to return as emphasis items, #3 being the most likely culprit.

This is the "standard" departure briefing used during my PIQ course. This is just a logical, paragraph format that addresses all the bullets for the crew briefing portion of the Before Takeoff Checklist.
