  1. I was accidentally sent the list for Guard FC1/MFS dates. I know the Guard has stopped scheduling MFS UFN. Looks like first “available” appointments are early July but not sure if they’ll actually fill those slots.
  2. Sounds like they need more time to sift through the selects to make sure no Tinker ABMs get picked up.
  3. No, I believe you. People in my community have been wronged pretty badly too (including me haha). It sucks to see. Luckily you have a vote and it's with your feet. The Guard or Reserves are hiring and I fully intend to move in that direction instead of deal with this active duty BS.
  4. This is disgusting. Especially with the provision that says if you need a Waiver/ETP and turn down any UFT selection you are ineligible to apply again in the future. I know my commander said he would look into what happened with my case... I'll email the Board tomorrow and see if I can find anything out. On a related note, only a SINGLE ABM was picked up to cross train to Pilot. I know there had to be close to 20-25 total that applied; many of which were very qualified with PPLs, Master's Degrees, good AFOQT scores and PCSMs. There seems to be a lot of shady business going on behind the scenes.
  5. Congratulations to all that have been selected. I can only imagine the feeling! I was not selected for the AD board this year. Here is my situation: Current rated officer; ABM with 2x deployments to OIR, FTU instructor, over 1,300 hours in my airframe 1x ETP for Age, 1x ETP for commissioned service 91 PCSM, AFOQT scores of 95 for pilot, 98 for ABM, and 94 for CSO Pilot license and Master's Complete, 4.0 GPA Strats: #1 / X from my squadron, #1 / X from my wing, LOR from WG/CC I'll say again, I did not get selected. From what it sounds like, ABMs are not being released to cross train to pilot at all. Obviously I am beside myself right now, hence the 5am post. I am not going to use this forum to blast big blue or the people that make decisions regarding ABM manning, but I know for sure that dozens of well-deserving, hard working ABMs applied for UPT and were never truly given a shot. What a slap in the face. Send me a PM if you got picked up for ABM instead of Pilot, CSO, or RPA. I have a few words of advice for you.
