That's a great drop!  Granted it's SPS...but they've not been immune to horrible drops

Anyone know if you can drop 135’s to March ARB as active duty. I know they have a AD tenant unit there. Trying to gage if it’s possible. Thanks in advance!

It has happened, but I wouldn’t count on it unless you have a join spouse preference. I’m also pretty sure it’s a reverse associate unit, not AD tenant.

It is an associate unit--Total Force Association/TF Integration, what have you. Like CaptainMorgan said, your best chance is join spouse. There are a handful of KC-135 TFA units out there, and they drop infrequently. They are also quite popular.

100% possible. But, statistically unlikely. My class (granted this was a while ago) got AD to Scott, March, and Birmingham in the same drop. Figure, they get one or two new people a year.

I heard they’re creating a secret tanker unit at March.   They’re moving the KC-10s back there instead of the boneyard.   Lol

That’d be awesome 😎

Careful, you’re going to end up on the Pentagon social media monitor calling it Rucker.

I’ve got zero issues renaming this place after a dude that flew B-29’s in WW2, got out of the AF Reserves as an O-5 (and gave up an airline line number!) to be a W-4 in the Army. He then earned the Medal of Honor doing 15 evacuation flights to save 29 ARVN soldiers.

I agree.

Edit: After second thought, I don't think he had enough DFCs (3) or AMs (64).

I learned me something today.  😌

Negative, just one guy in the entire drop was T-38 tracked. But there are rumors here that a 38 FAIP is gonna go heavies and a 1 guy is gonna get buffs in a trade (dual mil FAIPs with with one a 38 track and the other a 1).
