End of the Line - FC1 DQ

Hi all,

 

Just came back from WP with a DQ. Pretty devastated. This was with an ANG fighter unit. No support for an ETP push or anything like that. I'm already talking to Navy recruiters and am slated to take the ASTB next week.

 

Just want to make sure I leave no stone unturned. Can I try AF AD and ask for a re-test at WP? I don't want to doxx myself but the test I failed at WP was due to a temporary infection that has since resolved itself. Took the same test with a civ doctor and I am all cleared now.

Sorry to hear this.  PFT I presume??

To answer your question, going AD won't trigger a retest.  However, if you feel you have a good argument on your behalf, you can always appeal.  Your ANG unit can always ask for reconsideration, file a complaint with your congressman/congresswoman, etc.  Not saying that you will have success, but one can try.  Post in the "Aviation Medicine" thread and see if others have thoughts.
