ol-IEWO
Looks like they forget to check the refueling method earlier. Now there is a problem. Maybe they'll subcontract the refueling to the USAF.
ThreeHoler
Looks like they forget to check the refueling method earlier. Now there is a problem. Maybe they'll subcontract the refueling to the USAF. It has been a known problem for years. They should have bought the Navy version.
Crosswind
Maybe they can just go build a modernized version of the Delta Dart and call it good. Oh shit . . . Bad Idea
Prosuper
Plenty of retired KC-135E's, 3 have been sold to Chili. More affordable than the KC-330 and more proven too.
Vertigo
3 have been sold to Chili. This Chili? or this Chili?
Guest
That first one is Chili's, not Chili. Big difference. Obviously. I think he meant this Chili...

Stitch
Smart asses one little effing vowel. Chile https://www.airliners...abd56463fc3d529 Spelling and grammer count. For example: My Uncle Jack's off the horse. My uncle jacks off the horse. These things matter.
StoleIt
Do they usually taxi around with their hoses all droopy like that? sts Yeap, that's a drogue basket/iron maiden. On MPRS jets the soft basket will retract all the way into the pod.

Clark Griswold
Yup, assuming the program is truly TBTF and will be continued if sequestration kicks in. Suprised they didn't go with Rafale or Typhoon since they have traditionally wanted two engines (and half the cost) when you are way out over the great white north but to each his own... Guest
...they have traditionally wanted two engines (and half the cost) when you are way out over the great white north but to each his own... So you're saying you guys typically have threshold requirements for training purposes vs wanting two engines in combat? Really? Simmer down Clark.
