Had a Founders Brewing Breakfast Stout the other week. It's a double-chocolate coffee oatmeal stout, and it is delicious. Easily one of the best beers I have ever had. 9.6/10.

Very solid beer - especially for the winter. I also think Founder's Porter is probably the best porter out there as well. And their Centennial IPA is very good too.

split a 2013 Bourbon County Brand Stout with the Old Man on NYE. Very boozy (its 14% abv), lots of chocolate, caramel, black licorice, and a bit of bourbon, but you can taste the potential for aging. Looking forward to cracking one in several years.

Left Hand Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout. Long name for a good beer. Thick, strong, dark as coffee.

And the brewery was founded by two previous Air Force guys. Gives me ideas for my retirement plan. If you like that, try their Nitro Stout or the Milk Stout.

I guess there's still a lot of us old fuckers still do....with out trying hard!

Wait, so saying "what's the G2" means "what's the intel?"

Hell, I was in the Army, and I've never heard that before.

Anyway, Torpedo good (my palate, not that sophisticated)

Currently drinking a McEwans Scotch Ale.

It was a replacement for another Scottish ale I was looking for but couldn't find. Very good flavor. Almost has a caramel/malt flavor to it but not in a way that you forget your drinking a beer.
