  1. Are you sure it doesn't say "NET" 4 weeks? (NET = No earlier than) Also right now TTS isn't sending LOAs until about 1-2 weeks out. You should receive an email from Doss about reporting instructions any day now. Might be worth reaching out at this point
  2. When's your IFT date? I wanna say I got an email from Doss about 3-4 weeks prior to my date.
  3. Anybody know how it works to get their dates pushed to the right? I've received UPT RIPs and vmpf notification, but we're expecting a child around the time I'm supposed to PCS and class up. I told AFPC a month ago and my commander is looking into it but so far it's all fallen on deaf ears
  4. Got my UPT RIPs, headed to Vance. Anybody else headed that way?
  5. Not me, you're probably talking to the guy I replied to. Have fun at Pensacola though, it's a great location to train at
  6. Only guessing but that might be water survival. Pretty sure it's a pre-req for flying at Pensacola. If they're still doing it at the pool in Spokane it's a good time "Back in my day" they sent us to IFT then SERE/Water Survival back to back before starting UCT.
  7. I'm doing MFS on a Thursday (tomorrow). I got the rips email for it about 2 and a half weeks in advance though
  8. Yeah I saw that email too. For the life of me I can not remember if I already did MFS there or not though lol. I don't think I did. Pretty sure I went to the local AFB near my home that could do it for CSO. I know I've been to Wright-Patt for the centrifuge so I'm confusing that TDY with MFS in my memory. Where can I check to confirm?
  9. Yes they are. There's a blank third line below them where I'm expecting upt to populate
  10. Not to mention different commanders rank differently. Some do it based on time served/seniority. Some pick favorites. Some do it based on merit. Helps to have a healthy working relationship with your squadron commander and group commander if possible. They'll vouch for you.
  11. I'd have to look it up same as you but my understanding was only twice. If that's the case, speaking from experience CSO can be an excellent career field. If you have questions about it feel free to shoot me a DM
  12. I was an alternate last year. I emailed the AFPC board asking about how it works and they weren't clear in their answer but it sounded like alternates are for anybody that initially rejects their selection, not for anyone medically disqualified later on, although I've heard word of mouth otherwise. Maybe someone with better data can chime in. I replied asking how I could make my application stronger, waited, and was selected this year. So don't be discouraged, just be patient and keep working hard. If you want, DM me and I can pass more helpful info.
  13. @FloridaMan26 hooked me up with the good news and my commander just confirmed it UPT select let's goooooo
  14. I emailed the board. They confirmed 31 Jan for public release. And commander notification will be 3 days prior.
  15. Right. I was referring to the AF portal page saying otherwise.
  16. Well commander notification should be next Wednesday. Only need a half week coma then lol
  17. Confused about that advanced G comment. 15s also regularly pull up to 9 Gs, and I assumed 22s did too Edit: but yes, if you look at future plans for the air force, it doesn't include A-10s. You might still drop them but I doubt get a full career in them
