  1. Here’s what it comes down to and there is no refuting this: If you work in the federal government and take legitimate action while carrying out the duties of your job, if the optics and/or politics of what you did is politically bad for the administration, you will be blamed/not protected, especially if it can help the administration save some face. Let me know if you need an example.

  3. Her credentials sound like they're in line with the topic. However, she bit off on the polyethyleneglycol is anti-freeze thing. The poly part makes a big difference. Ethylene glycol kills your pets. Polyethyleneglycol is in your toothpaste. Different than injecting it, but it's not anti-freeze. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  5. But VNE in the U-28 is ~69 Knots slower than most bug smashers...

  7. “The whipping” Incredible to me that a flat out fabrication like “the border patrol is whipping black people” can actually spread as accepted fact among mainstream outlets (@arg, not saying you’re that person). Also, maybe I’ve just been working in the wrong places, but if I was as bad at handling a project I was given as Harris has been at handling the border, I would have been fired and fired real good. Must be nice to have that kind of privilege. Finally, and I know I posted about it already but I’ll mention it again; if you haven’t seen the video of Biden handlers kicking the press out in the middle of Boris Johnson answering a question, you really should (link below). There is some weird and scary shit happening in our country right now.

  8. A lot more to worry about than VBIED 172s…not saying it’s not a threat, but saying we’re fine with what we have to counter that threat. Discussing some new airplane to fly ACA is pissing into the wind.

  9. Honest question: is this enough of a threat/issue that it warrants not funding something that's applicable to the high end fight/peer fight? Not saying that funding issues always need to be an either/or but I'd venture a guess that our defense budgets will be flat to slightly decreasing going forward. For external VEO actors looking to execute the above scenario, is the vast increase in various intelligence collection and fusion (admittedly improvements in the second area is easily debatable) to ID/foil these types of attacks not enough of a defense? Then we still have the current alert commitment for the worst case scenario (not a pointy nosed guy so I can't speak at all to prosecuting an intercept against C-172 with an F-15/16).

  11. I remember min airspeed in BFM exceeded VNE in most bug smashers by ~69 Knots. I think you strap some 9X’s to a U-28 and they’ll be lethal to the low, slow crowd.

  12. I’d like to see where a 10 month old vaccine was mandated by the federal government, or one that had almost no effect in children, or one that is not a sterilizing vaccine (sterilizing from the disease)…. I have plenty of friends who weren’t vaccinated and were able to attend public school. National vaccine mandates are the idea I am against and a free society would not have them. It’s all too heavy handed and denies natural immunity. If the vaccine is so great why wouldn’t people voluntarily take? Why would the government even have to force it on people? Or are they all too dumb and can’t interpret the data like the experts can?

  13. I forgot that teachers, healthcare workers, airline travelers and the “couple” million of people you are missing are not “general population”. So you are for a sort-of mandate, which is totally different than a full mandate. What’s the difference between a nation wide mandate and requiring vaccination to travel? To go to school? To go to work? Less people will travel on airlines I guess? More vaccine fraud? More people will homeschool their kids? People will leave their jobs? The fact that you admittedly are “missing a couple” groups where the vaccine mandate “makes sense” is proof that your threshold is gray and if implemented will likely be determined by some person in an office building that doesn’t care about the individuals health nearly as much as that individual cares about theirs (or at least the individual ought to care). Bottom line is free countries don’t entertain this types of ideas. for the record, also against blow darts- though the blow dart scene from get smart comes to mind.
