	Hog fans: new shops online showcasing A-10 heritage. Crate of Thunder Designs (https://crate-of-thunder-designs.printify.me/products) showcases all things A-10 related. To include CSAR. We're also creating merchandise for Hawgsmoke 2024 (https://hawgsmoke-2024.printify.me/products) , which has a chance to be the last mass gathering of the A-10 community in their biannual gunnery competition. A portion of all proceeds go to the event.  These are print-on-demand providers, so we're not doing patches or coins. There may be options in the future for such endeavors as we work through some logistics. Commissions aren't possible through these websites due to the P.O.D. nature, but we can adjust the products or work commissions by contacting us directly at thundercrate6@gmail.com or leaving replies on Facebook at Thunder and 30 Millimeter.  Much appreciation to the mods for allowing this ad, and thanks for giving us a look! <br />
	Cheers,

</p>

<p>
	My wife has a new-with-tags 1995 AF-issue Saddlery A-2 jacket in size 36L that has been sitting unworn in the closet for decades.  It has always been too large for her. Jacket is in as-new condition, although a little wrinkled from being boxed up and taken on 8 PCS moves since '95 and sitting in long-term storage while OCONUS.

<p>
	She would like to try and trade it for a smaller AF issue A-2, preferably 34R or 34S.

	If you're looking for a reputable flight school to finish your ATP practical, VSL Aviation has a unique solution.  We are a veteran-owned and operated flight school in central Arkansas and have put together an ATP roadshow package.  If you have at least four individuals needing the ATP practical at your base, we will come to you.  Bringing our military-trained instructors, two well-equipped Beechcraft Travel Airs, and a designated pilot examiner, we can take care of the final step of your ATP rating at your home base.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	$4,100 package includes:<br />
	•    Ground training covering aircraft systems and Airman Certification Standards<br />
	•    Aircraft rental and fuel<br />
	•    Flight training<br />
	•    Military Competency admin services<br />
	•    FAA Practical Test (checkride)
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	All of these services will be made available at the nearest civilian or joint-use airport, eliminating the need for you to travel.  In many cases, scheduling can be tailored to your needs to limit the amount of leave you need to take to complete the training. If you're interested in setting up a free consult, please get in touch.  I would be happy to answer any of your questions and can help get you scheduled.

	Lightly used Garmin D2 Aviation Watch. Has a tiny nick on the face, barely noticeable. Comes with USB cable for charging and data sync. Works for fitness tracking as well as flight tracking. Fighter playback ranges from unusable to slightly worse than ACMI. I imagine it would be awesome in a heavy aircraft. Has WAAS, can interface via Bluetooth to your EFB. My favorite feature is the customize-able cabin pressure altitude warning, works for ascent and descent. The nice thing about this watch vs the D2 Bravo or D2 Charlie is that it can operate completely stand-alone (ie without your phone).

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	     I am new to the forum and had a couple questions about the lifestyle of Guard/Reserve mobility pilots.  I'm an Army officer (about to make O3) with 6 years in the guard, and I've heard that the AF pilot age has been extended to 33.  I have always wanted to fly fixed-wings (no military aviation experience currently, I come from a CBRN background), and have been considering applying AF Guard/Reserves units when my Guard contract ends in 2 years.  I have a couple questions about the lifestyle of Guard/Reserves Cargo or Tanker pilots, and I would really appreciate it if someone with knowledge in these areas could share some of their experience.  Thank you for your responses and advice in this subject!
</p>

<p>
	1)  What is the average number of hours you will fly per week or month once finished with training?
</p>

<p>
	2)  How far do people typically live from the unit?  How easy is it to switch between states/units if needed?
</p>

<p>
	3)  What are the typical deployment cycles/rates?
</p>

<p>

	During a deployment last year we parked our plane next to a decommissioned 737 on the other side of the world. Found the owner, bought the cowl, then flew it home at the end of the trip. Planned on turning it into an awesome glass top coffee table or large wall mirror, but we just don't have the space or time for it right now. First $2k takes it. I *may* be able to figure out a way to get it to you via air if you're not in the NW Florida area. Thanks!

	Picked this gem up when the 524 shut down.  Who wants it, it’s been in my attic for over a decade now.

<p>
	I attached a pdf with some pictures of the place and a better description. If you are at all interested my contact info is in the pdf.

	I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has or knows where I can obtain a complete MBU-5/P mask like the one below, please let me know.  It's for a heritage display.
</p>

	Cheers!  M2<br>

	What’s the latest gouge on the best place to order a custom A2 leather flying jacket?
</p>

<p>
	Would love to order one in person stateside, preferably in Texas where I know there’s lots of leather to be had, but not sure if such a place exists. Last I remember Korea or Turkey were the go-to places.
</p>

<p>
	Any gouge is much appreciated <span class="ipsEmoji">🇺🇸</span>
