  1. The ETP itself is something that needs to be typed up by the member on an official letterhead. This will then be backed with a statement/letter by the unit CC, then to the ATAG and finally the TAG (who usually says they concur with the other statements). Depending on how quick and satisfied you are with the letter when you write it....I'd say it takes another month to get all the other endorsements (from the CC, ATAG and TAG). This will be submitted as a package with a copy of your logbook and the form 24 I believe. It will be up at State HQ first for first approval/proof reading/etc. then it will head up to NGB. At this point it's already around 2.5 months. NGB will then go through their steps and approve/proofread to ensure it's all good to go and that nothing is missing. They may request additional items or need clarification on whatever. After this, it took the rest of the time (approx another 3.5 months) to sit on the desk of the powers that be to approve (VCSAF). Hope this helps...I tried to recall everything off the top of my nugget.
  2. I'm not worried about it....thx Ram...hook, line and sinker. For those of you gentlemen who have responded in PM...I appreciate it...and I'll continue to try and help as much as I can.
  3. Pretty good, pretty good. Azimuth... I def had to slow my roll...went from (near) the top of one totem pole...to the bottom of another. But oh well, time for a career change.
  4. I was picked up as an alternate at my old base (KC-135), but then selected as a primary down the road for F-16 about 2 weeks later. A few days later I was offered the KC-135 job as well. Of course most would say this is a no brainer, unless you felt like you wanted a quicker way to the airlines... Nonetheless I choose to go the fighter route first, knowing that down the road (if desired) I'd be able to fly heavies if I wanted to...but not the other way around.
  5. Approved in Oct 2013...submitted around April 2013. Prior enlisted as a MSgt....selected for F-16. @ Tucson ANG.
  6. I think it depends on the class...my class had a combat dining-out....so we weren't required to purchase the expensive mess dress.
  7. Looking for anyone who may be joining me at Sheppard for ENJJPT this July. I'm not sure our class number...but looks like graduation is slated for Aug 2015.
