Did they hire for both airframes or just the HC-130?

I was a sophomore in high school, and I live just a little more than stones throw away from Manhattan. I was in biology class when we heard the news. We had no TV to watch so we waited until class let out and everyone scrambled to find the nearest TV. Due to our proximity, we were allowed to use the office phones to call anyone that may be working in the area. My mom was, and she was fine, thank god. We finished out the rest of the school day in disbelief, grief, shock, and a million other emotions shared by the rest of America. I remember walking out of class and seeing two things. One, the winds that day were blowing smoke from the towers in such a way that all you had to do was look up and see it. Two, a two ship of Eagles flying overhead. The Trade Center burned for days and smoldered for weeks after and believe me when I say you could smell it when you woke up. Some people told me they woke up the next day with soot on their windows. Jango is right, most of the guidos live in NE Jersey and Staten Island. The only time you'll really come in contact with them in central/south jersey is during the summer at the shore. Belmar and Seaside Heights in the summer is a popped collar parade. The locals hate them, but the locals don't really care for anybody from North Jersey, generally. The key with laser eye surgery is post-op. Be religious with the steroid and antibiotic drops and whatever else your doctor gives you. I'm speaking from the PRK side, I don't know what you get post LASIK.

Look more closely at the two procedures and what your doctor recommends. I just had Wavefront PRK in August and couldn't be happier. I know LASIK is fine for pilots, but I was told by my doc a lot of doctors prefer PRK due to less side effects, no flap, etc.

Thread revival. I've been reading lots of positive information regarding ACL Reconstruction and waivers. I also have had ACL Reconstruction on my left knee, and another surgery on the left knee for meniscus repair, with full recovery. Unfortunately, I recently injured my RIGHT knee and need ACL Reconsruction as well as repair of a slight meniscus tear. Pending a full recovery after this third surgery, do you think the outlook would be good for a non-prior like me to obtain the waivers I needed to fly? I would imagine multiple knee surgeries doesnt look very good in the eyes of the Air Force.

You'll probably find what you need with a quick search, i'm pretty sure knee surgeries have been discussed before.

Thank you for the response, it's been a while since i posted here. It turned out to be HS Purpura and after another urinalysis my kidney doc found TRACE amounts of protein and blood in my urine. He is not concerned with this yet and has told me to wait until april to get another urinalysis. If there is still protein and blood in my urine he will put me on a medication that, according to him, is actually a blood pressure medication that will also eliminate any protein in my kidneys. My skin has fully healed save for a few spots here and there. My question is, do you think this development would hurt my chances of passing a flying physical?

Hey all, I have just been diagnosed with vasculitis and was wondering if it was disqualifying. Only my skin has been affected and none of my internal organs so I got lucky. My skin is healing nicely and the doc's think it may be HS Purpura i'll find out in a few days. If it is disqualifying is there any chance for a waiver? I tried a search with no luck.
