  1. Did you have the specific AFPAK Hands vector from a previous DT? All the guys I've heard of that ended up getting picked for the program all had the vector but then ended up three day opting. I'm afraid they're going to run out of guys that were vectored and start coming for us MAJCOM staff vector guys.
  2. They should play that on lock-up night at SV80.
  3. You could literally park in one of about 7 parking lots along the flightline road and no one would ever look twice at it.
  4. I just got the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. No fees on international purchases, 2% back on travel (airline tickets, hotels) and all restaurants. 1% on everything else. I also got 5,000 bonus points just for getting my wife a card and then 40,000 bonus points for spending $3,000 in the first 90 days. I then transferred those miles directly to United Airlines and got my mother-in-law an almost free ticket to Germany. In three months this card has already made me about $1,000 in free money. Did I mention I have exactly $0 in debt and I haven't paid a dime in credit card interest in over 10 years? If you have any self-restraint at all, don't listen to Dave Ramsey when it comes to credit cards.
  5. I would think the hardest think about working in the command center at Scott would be having to tell your parents that your job has almost nothing to do with actually being in the military.
  6. Well, there's no AAD info so the boards can't possibly be expected to be able to differentiate between records. Promotions for all my friends.
  7. Definitely. Those should come from the chart, IIRC.
  8. Awesome! Hope all goes well for you. I'm sure this has been mentioned before in this thread, but if you could make the program calculate brake cooling times that would be extremely useful to us out in the field. That's one thing that's missing from CNI-MU TOLD that would be great to have.
  9. So say you were stationed at a base that rhymes with Schmamstein. How hard would it be to schedule this Mach Loop for a local trainer?
  10. I can think of at least two USAF crews that flew way more than 0.5 NM into countries that we are openly hostile towards. Good thing they didn't have Israels IADS. That doesn't count the incursions we've had into Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, etc.
  11. I've always been partial to the Dodge Ram 1500. I've owned a '99 and an '08, and I only sold them because of two OCONUS PCSs. This review of the '14 Ecodiesel has me looking really closely at getting my third when I go back. http://www.motortrend.com/oftheyear/truck/1402_2014_ram_1500_is_motor_trend_2014_truck_of_the_year/photo_31.html
  12. AAD masked on all boards below O-6. If you can't respect the hell out of that there's no hope for you.
  13. Would have...should have...should have...could have. (End of grammar nerd rant.)
  14. Haha...navs. Obviously there's plenty of opportunity on the outside for just about everyone in the military, just not in a job that's related even remotely to what the AF trained you to do. I really hope you don't think you can get out and still be a nav.
