  1. Hmm, 11-08 should have dropped 2 Sep...any word?
  2. Since we are throwing out rumors... We are going to need 3-5 more B-1 drops to complete a class.
  3. 11-05 must workout a lot, because they are... BUFF According to the grapevine, half the class dropped B-52s. Wow. Drop happened about an hour ago. Still waiting for an official report. (thread bump)
  4. thread bump! The second CSO class (11-04) drop was about 30 minutes ago. Zero B-1s. Anyone got an accurate list?
  5. Howdy all, I'm looking ahead at assignments after a term at Ellsworth as a B1 WSO. I've heard a lot about ALO and of course going back to Pensacola. Any thoughts on a b1 test squadron? I have BS in computer engineering technology (not the best grades, but I have the paper on my wall).
  6. You're going to report into Student Control (STUCON), they will walk you through the inprocessing. I'll PM you the specifics.
  7. I definitely agree that you're better off living off base. Students living in the townhouses are fighting to leave. They simply crammed too many people in too small a space. The townhouses are rented by the room, thus the 3 bedroom will have 3 people in it (only exception is that the 4 bedroom units only have 3 people). Listen to experience, I lived in the townhouses for a year, and I would never recommend it to anyone. Now I live alone in a 3 bedroom house off base and still pocket $200 a month.
  8. I've been receiving that advice a lot lately. Yeah, most of the CSO FTUs sent CCs or DOs to Pensacola last week to discuss how to use the new "CSO". ^agree I've spent my whole career in Pensacola so far, and the term CSO is completely normal to me. In fact, WSO/EWO/Nav sounds odd. I expect to start using the term WSO in the few months, but behind me are 400 new officers a year, with "CSO" ingrained into our brains.
  9. The Bone was also shorted from the old Pensacola program due to Randolph's EWO following on training shutting down (6 slots were never filled and Buff received the students). The asset is looking for mostly brand new CSOs nowadays. We were told months ago that our class could be half asset, half slick C-130s, I'm glad that wasn't the case.
