Wow, that's the best Corpus drop I've ever heard of. Great timing for those guys!

My class had a good drop back in December but no one ever posted it. Better late than never I guess.

Corpus class 09-40 December 6th

MC130P Eglin

C130J Little Rock

C130 Yokota

C130 Peterson

Sorry for the lateness. But yeah we had a good drop, i think being such a small class helped out.

At XL yesterday:

1x C-17 to McChord

2x T-6 FAIP to Laughlin

2x RPA to Creech

3x KC-10s to McGuire and Travis

1x C-130 to Pope

~4x KC-135s to McConnell, Scott and other places

I'm doing this from memory, so this list probably isn't 100% accurate.

These are the exact numbers. It was only a class of 10 (9 + 1 Reservist). Y'all need to learn how to count.

1x C-17 to McChord

1x T-6 FAIP to Laughlin

2x RPA to Creech

1x KC-10 to McGuire

1x KC-10 to Travis

1x C-130 to Pope

1x KC-135 to McConnell

1x KC-135 to Scott

1x KC-135 to Andrews (Reserves)

After the drop, the one RPA guy was hanging out at the bar with his buddies and the other one stormed off to go pout behind the Club. Some of his friends eventually found him and tried to cheer him up. A couple IPs tried to set him straight, but the dude wasn't really listening to anybody. Some other dude went off on him, something about preds keeping people alive and how he shouldn't be so selfish about things. I have no idea how it ended. This isn't rumor, it's what I saw first-hand (which is why it probably sounds pretty incomplete).

Can't cut the guy any slack huh? I mean, how bad was he that night really? If I had just found out that the last/hardest/worst 13 months of my life training to fly IN an aircraft were all to just sit in a box in a damn desert for the next 10 yrs, I wouldn't be all too cheerful either. Dude got f*****, plain and simple. Now he's got dudes "going off on him" to add to the night too? Now if he shows up to his assignment with the same attitude, that's a completely different story. You have to accept it and kick ass in it. But as long as this guy wasn't being ridiculously unprofessional (which I can't really tell from your post, and excuse me if I'm mistaken), can't the guy get some time to let that s*** sink in for a bit. Just my $0.02

False. Anyone just getting an assignment now knew before they started UPT that UAVs were a possibility. If that possibility was/is unacceptable to them they shouldn't have started training.

This kind of thing happened a few times at VN... Hitme usually set them and the crowd straight. :nob:
