flyingbulldog Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 I've seen a few threads about ANG to AFRES transfers, but none the other way around. I've asked a couple people what the transfer process would be, and most just say "harder than AFRES unit to AFRES unit." Can anyone provide some details or advice on how to go about such a transfer? I'm a pilot still in my ADSC, at a Reserve unit, looking to go to a Guard unit with a different aircraft much closer to home. I guess the trickiest part (besides getting interviewed and hired by the new unit) would be getting released by my present unit, correct? Any other advice would be appreciated.
