Danger41
On the Thunderbirds Facebook page they put up a very nice tribute video to Cajun. I never knew him, but it was very obvious how well liked and respected he was. It’s obviously tragic that he was lost, but I always try to find solace that a true fighter pilot like him died with his G suit and boots on while living out a lifelong dream next to his brothers. brabus
Tbirds put together a solid memorial and roll call yesterday for Cajun. The turn out was impressive, but certainly not surprising. Here's to you brother, well see you on the other side

Hopefulflyer389
Damn! Can these aircraft be equipped with GCAS or would the system be rendered useless due to them flying so low already?

precontact
https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/f-16cm-thunderbird-investigation-of-fatal-crash-rele-452748/ “Auto GCAS has successfully saved several F-16 pilot lives, however it is not currently installed in F-16 Block 52s flown by the Thunderbirds,” said the USAF. “The Air Force will be installing this upgrade in all Thunderbird jets in November 2018, following the completion of the current season."
