The Next President is...

Recommended Posts

Here's just one "small" indicator that the Presidents policies and agenda might be racist:<) If these numbers continue to fall the Presidents in deep shit and he will, at a minimum, probably see an attempt by the Democrats in Congress to censure him:<)

Excerpts;

- Almost unnoticed by the mainstream media, unemployment rates for Hispanics, African-Americans and Asians have not only fallen, but are now at all-time lows. That's right: Unemployment has never been lower for minorities, at least not since 1972, when such records first started being kept.

- The jobless rate for African Americans fell to a record low 6.8% in December from 7.2% the month before. And it was the first time ever that unemployment for African Americans ever fell below 7%.

-  Hispanics, too, have seen unemployment drop to record-low levels. For Hispanics, unemployment fell below 5% for the first time ever in October.

- Asians as a group saw their unemployment rate spike to as high as 8.4% in 2009. In December, it fell below 3% for the first time since 2007, dropping to a record-low 2.5%.

Trump couldn't have chosen a worse target for his racist comments than Nigeria.

Houston Chronicle:

"Data show Nigerians the most educated in the U.S.

BACHELOR'S AND BEYOND
In America, Nigerians' education pursuit is above rest
Whether driven by immigration or family, data show more earn degrees"

http://www.chron.com/news/article/Data-show-Nigerians-the-most-educated-in-the-U-S-1600808.php

He's racist. Stop rationalizing. If you're OK with comments like this (it's not the first time he's made racist comments), you're racist too.

Yeah, Nigeria is soooo awesome lol...

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-13809501

And calling Trump a racist is what got him elected--only the far left who hates him and his policies call him a racist, whereas the majority of people from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan believed he had better ideas for the country.

I'm personally no more a fan of Trump than I was of Obama (they're both a joke in their own ways) but I'm sure enjoying Trump's policies a lot more than Obama's.

This is a publicity stunt, not a real run for office. Senator Ben Cardin, the 2-term incumbent of that seat, has literally 50 years of electoral success in Maryland and has never lost a race.

Not worth even mentioning other than she is a terrible person and an attention-seeking douche.

My prediction is Cardin wins the primary with basically no effort by 50+ points. Lucky for me, when my party has lunatics run for office they are typically defeated handily in primaries by distinguished public servants.

Can’t quite say the same for my friends on the right...Senator Doug Jones sends his regards to the GOP primary voters of Alabama

This is the same shit that brought us the Black lives matter nothing burger. Try to tell a liberal that blacks in America are committing a hugely disproportionate amount of violent crime, a completely irrefutable fact, and they call you a racist. But in the same breath they scream that we "have to" have a conversation about racist policing in America.

Now we "have to" have a conversation about immigration, but call a country a shithole, when that country is by any reasonable analysis exactly that, boom, out comes the racist card.

If you dingleberries keep using language restriction and faux outrage to shame people into your way of thinking, Donald is going to tap dance right into another term.

Maybe when someone tells you they aren't racist, turn off your inner Maddow and try to figure out what other reasons they have for disagreeing with you.

Instead of focusing on "shithole", focus on the "why".

"Why do we want all these people from shithole countries coming here?" "We should have more people from places like Norway here"

As if the nation of your birthplace determines your capabilities and your worth. The implication of his statement is those that come from a nation with a bad economy, or a horrible government are not worth letting in, but those from a Northern European nation are good to go with no needed justification. Why does someone from a poor Caribbean nation have to give more of a justification as to why they want to be an American than someone from Norway?

Maybe that comment isn't about race (though it's an odd coincidence he specifically picked out nations whose populations are black/brown as undesirable nations, and specifically named a nation whose population is 97.3% Caucasian as an ideal immigrant). Maybe that comment was more about those coming from poverty. Taking that one statement doesn't necessarily paint the President as a racist. Taking his past statements and actions, then we can start forming a picture of who he is an what his ideals in regards to race are.

1- His real estate company avoided renting to black people and gave preferential treatment to whites in the 70's.
2- His statement on black employees in his casino: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it.... I think the guy is lazy. And it's probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks."
3- The Central Park 5. He was still arguing in 2016 they were guilty despite DNA evidence proving their innocence 10 years before.
4- Mexicans coming into the U.S. are "rapists". But some, he assumes, are good people. (nice backtrack)
5- The judge in the Trump University case couldn't be impartial because he is "of Mexican heritage".
6- 15,000 recent Haitian immigrants "all have AIDS"
7- The 40,000 Nigerians "would never go back to their huts" in Africa after seeing the U.S.
8- His quickness to highlight crimes by those of color, while remaining silent on hate crimes committed by whites.
9- Puerto Ricans, who have criticized the hurricane response, are "ingrates".
10- He has often retweeted white supremacists.
11- But that doesn't matter, because amongst white supremacists are some "very fine people"
12- When Indians wanted to open up casinos, which would compete with his casinos, he took out ads stating that "...Indian record of criminal activity is well documented" and that "organized crime is rampant" on Indian reservations.
13- "Pocahontas"
14- Referring to a Hispanic Miss Universe contestant as "Miss Housekeeping"
15- Wondering, out loud, why a Korean-American intelligence analyst was working on Pakistan policy and not North Korea policy.

I'm sure there are other examples out there. You can dismiss, or excuse away any or all of them. But to others, the pattern is quite clear.

If you look hard enough you can find a pattern to claim just about anything.

Don’t fall for the propaganda.

I know well-educated successful upper middle class minorities who have it better than 90% of Americans that have been convinced they are victims in a systematically racist country.

Because they’ve found a “pattern” and they can justifiably compare 2018 New England to 1968 Mississippi.

Some people just want to complain and be victims. Most of us are tired of it.

I think Trump's whole statement was "....like people from Norway AND ASIA."  The media conveniently leaves the last two words off his statement because it does not fit the liberal narrative and hampers their ability to stir up shit.

Having been involved in Operation Support Democracy (also known as Operation Support Democrats, The Haitian Invasion, and/or Operation Rum Punch by those of us that ended up in Puerto Rico), the pre-attack briefing given by the Intel folks pretty much painted a shithole picture of a country.  We were only going to shoot TP ammo so we would decrease the odds of setting the slums on fire which could not be put out once burning.  Our only "armored" targets were thin skinned V-150s and the 30mm TP ammo will punch through 4 inches of armor so no big deal but you lose the HEI effectiveness on area targets that have no armor such as people.  I flew into Haiti after the latest earthquake with a 767 full of relief cargo and aid workers.  Looked and smelled like a shithole.  Last but not least, liberals will say we can't send illegals back to their home countries BECAUSE????...their countries are shitholes.  The liberal "scream at the sky" emotional meltdown continues.

For those who haven't read it, author Jared Diamond (also wrote Guns, Germs, and Steel) wrote Collapse.  The book covers failed cultures from the past that are no more other than what we find via artifacts.  He also does a great job describing FAILING cultures and compares Haiti to the Dominican Republic where the former is failing and the latter is doing okay despite being neighbors on a small island.  Both books are good reads.

Or maybe, just maybe, he isn't a racist. And he played the cards necessary to get certain demographics to vote for him. Just a thought.
