TAMInated Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Hearing rumors from semi-reliable sources that ACC is going to pay for 4 hours a month at the aero club. Guess AFSOC guys will have to continue to let knowing that they're "doing a great job, we're proud of you, what you're doing is important, you are all future cols and gens, etc" be their reason for carrying on. Boxhead Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Not sure, but boy I would love it, as I used to sing and dance that idea while I was in AFSOC and I still do now that I am ACC. There would be no better morale builder than that simple little thing. Not so much an "ACE" program...as that requires the USAF to own, maintain, train, evaluate, have a cadre, ect.....if they simply have a checkbook that just pays for a few hours a month at whatever FBO you want to use it at...now that is a cheap, hands off and highly effective morale boost. Everyone knows 'Tops In Blue' is the only effective use of our funds for promoting morale.
