  1. I wasn’t allowed to say anything until today, but it's now okay for me to share that I have volunteered for the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer. The vaccine is the one that has been developed in Russia. It is in 6 different stages and I received my first dose this morning at 06:20 am, and I wanted to let you all know that it is safe and I’m ok, with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and that I feelshκι я чувю себя немного стрно и я думю, что вытл осные уши. чувству себя немго страо. Comrade!
  2. Let the pardons begin! https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2020/11/25/trump-pardons-former-national-security-adviser-michael-flynn/
  3. CC directed Q3’s are better than an FEB and losing your wings... You are correct though, sucks that 2-4 received anything at all considering they were following 1.
  4. Nothing beats this flyover. Too bad the flight lead took the hit so that the rest of the formation was spared...
  5. You mean Sewer City?!? (I was born and raised just south of there). I used to ride a 03 Fatboy and now have a 15 Road Glide. Highly recommend Sturgis (Buffalo Chip, Needles, Spearfish, Deadwood). Dragons Tail is an awesome ride. I’ve heard Laconia is an awesome event also. Myrtle Beach and Daytona kind of suck (too spread out with no real riding because all the riding is bumper to bumper).
  6. Maybe this is why Pelosi is introducing the 25th Amendment. If Trump wins, it’s another way to stick it to him. If Biden wins, it’s a way to oust him because of his mental status. Either way, it’s a win for Pelosi!
  7. Interesting concept. I’ve always wanted to catapult from a carrier deck, not sure how I’d feel from taking off out of a 747... https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/aviation/a33957030/boeing-747-airborne-aircraft-carrier-proposal/?utm_campaign=socialflowFBPOP&utm_medium=social-media&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0JAUqKOZ_7UgAQj0mjp_iSCbf70Re8iZ4_JqP21q7NmRMvfHKCjpueUbA&fbclid=IwAR2Ys9GY-U-Ho2BaDQ6qHawT1oxWFz7iLEBFrCQmlAdklUsdbrVgJIg-ckU&fbclid=IwAR0jq1HJrYozKzaQbxiSCHNYPSCVfx-GVnPInTrq_OxN7gyQ4OjHHU76s8k
  8. Light Attack was an ACC led initiative that had an experiment between the AT-6 and A-29 with the ultimate plan of ACC receiving 305 aircraft and AFSOC receiving 55 aircraft. What really came from this is that ACC is receiving 3x AT-6’s and AFSOC is receiving 3x A-29’s. Armed Overwatch is a SOCOM led initiative that is scheduled to have an experiment this November between 5 different strike/ISR aircraft. The ultimate plan is for AFSOC to receive 75 aircraft to support SOCOM ops.
  9. Lol Do they have to be physically sitting on the ramp by 2021 or does the contract and CONOP need to be signed by 2021?!? The contract is signed and we’re starting our Tech Pubs Review and Training Working Group to discuss the training syllabus, ops plan, etc. next month.
  10. Yes AFSOC is getting 3x A-29‘s for CAA training and will be stationed at Hurlburt. ACC is getting 3x AT-6’s for JTAC training and OT&E and will be stationed at Moody. The LA and AO requirements are substantially different.
  11. AT-6E https://theaviationist.com/2020/06/26/isr-with-attitude-we-fly-textrons-at-6e-wolverine/
  12. Presently - 0% All are being offered staff...
  13. Not only retention but probably growth. I’ve got airline buddies putting in for the VRRAD to come back on AD.
  14. Looks like Mag Aerospace and Orbital ATK are now in the mix... https://www.foxnews.com/tech/us-special-operations-arms-surveillance-aircraft-for-precision-attack
  15. Short answer - yes, ground forces care.
  16. Bronco II https://www.bronco-usa.com/bronco-ii/ https://www.janes.com/article/95937/bronco-ii-returns-for-socom-armed-overwatch-bid Should the aircraft be selected, the consortium plans to manufacture it at a facility in Crestview, Florida, as part of efforts to maintain the 'Buy American, Build American' requirements of the US government's procurement strategy. Very smart to put that in Rep Gaetz (Armed Services Committee) and AFSOCs back yard!

  21. I know it’s called sarcasm but: There’s already a “precision strike / light airlift” aircraft being flown for liaison purposes... it’s called the AC-208 Armed Caravan. There’s definitely no reason to combine light attack and light airlift!
