It'd be incredible if Russell hopped in and won. He seems like a solid driver and a good dude. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app

I don't know man, without the engineering, the impact would have killed him regardless of the fire. I mean look at the halo after the crash. That right there is a big part of what saved him. His car was in 3 pieces, but the survival cell stayed in tact and let him walk away from the incident with minor injuries after a 56G crash. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  3. My recruiter reached out to me about 10 days after my selection with some medical screening/MEPS forms for me to complete. The holidays will make things harder, but if it takes too much longer, I'd reach out the your POC with the hiring squadron and get clarification on what to expect. It shouldn't take a month to send a few emails. Throughout my process, I tried not to "bother" the pilot they told me would be my POC and trust recruiting to do their jobs. If I'd reached out to my POC when things weren't passing the smell test, I'd have gotten to OTS and UPT about 6 months earlier than I did. Don't call every day, but annoy the recruiter and make them get your shit done. If you're getting no movement, get your hiring squadron involved. Sure, it might rub the recruiters the wrong way, but it's better than sitting on your thumbs for 2-3 months waiting for them to finish something that should take 2-3 days. Bottom line, no one cares about your process more than you do. This process is long enough without added delays created by the recruiters being lazy. The safety of these cars is incredible. That was a horrific crash. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  5. That's good that people in your area are wearing masks. I went to Sam's yesterday and saw at least 15 people without masks and multiple people wearing mesh masks. I also know of multiple daycares in my area that weren't taking any precautions because "kids don't get COVID", until they had multiple teachers and students come down with the virus and pass it between families. Some people just don't give a shit. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  6. What about AstraZenica and Johnson and Johnson? I was under the understanding that their vaccine was more traditional. If im mistaken, please correct me! I'd think since the Moderna vaccine only requires basic refrigeration, it would be the one given in harder to reach areas around the world and we would be more likely to get the AstraZenica or J&J vaccines that requires the extremely cold temperatures. 7. That checks with almost everyone I know that went through the process. Myself included. It sucks that it's just one wait after another, but I doubt they're going to streamline the process at this point haha. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  8. If that's the case, it's new since of COVID. I just checked with the guys my unit hired last year and one went to wright patt before he swore in and the other went after he swore in but before they submitted his appointment package. MEPS was the only requirement before our unit requested their physicals. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  9. Ok, that's good to know. So are the antibody tests just bullshit or is there any benefit to them? This stuff is way over my head, but definitely still interesting to learn about. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  10. From the little I do know (and that's very little), it does create antibodies. What seems to be variable is how long they last. As for a vaccine, I don't understand how most of that magic works hahaha. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  11. So you're just bad at math, got it. Again, like was just shown in another comment. The only way your math makes sense is if 100% of the votes go to Trump. Come on man, don't read into his logic. If he didn't explicitly type the words, he didn't say it. He's just using math. Any conclusions you come to in order for his math to make a lick of sense is your problem. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  12. You would not get OTS/UPT dates before your flight physical. In fact, I didn't even think you could get your NGB package approved without a signed FC1. And I know you can be sent for your FC1 before you even swear in with your unit. So I'd check with your POC at the squadron, because it sounds like your recruiters might be a little confused. 13. I'm just trying to explain how your statement read. I even gave you the benefit of the doubt in my first response saying I didn't believe you were trying to be misleading. But I guess I was wrong there. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that it was misleading. If you did understand what the data said, then you knew your 20% and 4 states numbers were way off. Which means you were purposely misrepresenting it to push your narrative, which is much more disappointing for a guy that always pushes "facts and evidence". Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  14. But you did. It doesn't have to be explicit. By saying that the 2600 was 20% of the difference between Biden and Trump and that 4 other counties like this could flip the state, you're saying all those votes were for Trump. Othwise, it takes a lot more than 4 additional counties for the state to flip. So you either believed/wanted people to read it as the 2600 were all for Trump, or you're just REALLY bad at math and critical thinking. Honestly, I'm not sure which it is at this point. It's ok if you initially read it as they found 2600 Trump votes, but don't act offended when someone corrects you. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  15. The only way any of your math in the above comment works is if you assumed all 2600 votes were for Trump. The percentage isn't accurate otherwise. So I don't think he was offended, your comment was just misleading. I understand it probably wasn't purposely misleading, but to say he was misquoting you isn't exactly fair. 16. I wish I did, I don't know near enough about this stuff to speak with authority. I'm not smart enough to truly understand immunology. But anecdotally 3 people in my family have had COVID and 2 of them show no antibodies. From what I can find, reinfection isn't likely within a short amount of time. But as with everything else about this damn virus, there's a lot that's unknown. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  17. If getting exposed made you permanently immune like chicken pox, I might agree. But since it doesn't, I don't think I'd purposely expose myself. I wonder if we will have an option or if this vaccine will be mandatory for everyone in the military. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  18. Agreed. Sadly we have passed the age of bipartisan work in the interest of the country. I'm not necessarily saying changing this rule would benefit the country, I don't know. But generally, the parties seem to want to maintain the status quo so they don't lose their talking points. Plus, in this instance, congresspeople would be diluting their own power. So, like term limits, it's probably never going to happen. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  19. Well I think a constitutional amendment carries a little more weight than a law. Especially one that created an arbitrary cap on the number of representatives just before we add the 47th and 48th states. But he probably shouldn't have replied to you. Especially if his intent was to target his comment at those in this thread arguing originalism. I donno man, haha I was just trying to provide another view point of his comment. 20. I think his point was that what the founders intended was the electoral college, not the modified version we have now. The electoral college rightly favors smaller states, but the numbers cap created by congress was not what the founders had in mind. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app

Same issue, so I just finished it on demand. So happy for Seb. Have to love the irony of Seb doing so well the week Binotto isn't there. Binotto is toxic. I'd be surprised if they ever compete for a championship under his leadership. Edit: Not only the best result for Seb, but also the best result for Ferrari. Top scoring team of the day. 22. I'll buy. Mainly because I'd love to hang out with most of you guys and talk about anything but this damned election. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  23. It's from yesterday. Jesus, she tweets as much as Trump does. I hate the politicians have become so reliant on Twitter. I've never seen it make anyone appear smart. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  24. I never read that as trying to get a list of the 70M voters of his. I'm pretty sure shes referring to politicians. People like McConnel, Cruz, Graham, etc. tore Trump to shreds in public until he won the nomination, then he was the greatest thing that's ever happened to the country. They will 100% act like they never supported hum and claim they fought against him as soon as it helps them politically. But, to be fair, that's the game. I wish we could get rid of 99% of the people in DC and get people that actually care about the country in office, but that's never going to happen. I know this is preaching to the choir, but we desperately need term limits. Sent from my SM-N975U using Baseops Network mobile app
  25. Not RPA, but know multiple people that recently went through the pipeline. You get to create a "dream sheet" at OTS, ranking all the RPA bases. Then you get assigned to a base, and will be assigned whatever drone is at the assigned base. What was shitty was that it just had the bases listed, not whether the base was MQ-9s and RQ-4s, so if you don't know which bases had which RPA, you're shit out of luck.
