  1. Had an ORI not long after Gulf War, Round 1. Had to prove to the REMFs that we could do what we just did. 🤣🤦‍♂️
  2. Can't imagine the current DC brain trust allowing the hunters to become the hunted with only minor retaliation in Iraq & Syria is inspiring many to run on down to their local recruiting office........ "We reserve the tight to respond" 🤮 When? After 100 attacks in 30 days on US bases 🖕
  3. Flown with more than a few with visible tats at AAmeriflot 🤷‍♂️
  4. Lesson 2: There are always exceptions to "why buy when you can rent".... 🎅
  5. Try working for airline management..... True happiness is flying at an airline & not giving a single jack shit about said airline management. Cheers & Merry Christmas! doc retired USAF retired B777I
  6. Union 101 for new hires: 1. The #1 priority of the union is to protect the union (protection of the members is somewhere near priority #69) 2. The #1 priority of the Prez/Vice-Prez/ST/BoD/MEC/LEC/etc is to enrich themselves; you are an afterthought Lesson complete. You now know 90% of union knowledge required for a 20-30 yr career. Only kidding a little 🤮 You're welcome! 😎
  7. It's the AAPA way 🤮 ('21 retiree)
  8. Nominee for Top 10 Baseops quotes of all-time. Can confirm. Reference point: 21 yrs AD/21 yrs airline Cheers!
  9. Here's a small bit of positive (at this circus anyway); On 9/11, all new hires in training were sent home immediately. That hasn't happened. In fact, as of today, a new hire pilot class & mx class scheduled for next week are still a go. Furloughs "off the top" continue at 60-80/month. No clue as to when the postponed end of month class will be rescheduled. If the 76s are indeed parked soon, some portion of the 75/76 pilot group will most likely displace and utilize already scarce sim resources. Disclaimer: Long range planning here is usually just past the next meal period & lunch time isn't far off.
  10. What is this printer thingy of which you speak...........
