  1. Yes. The issue is they will cut you a check for the negative balance, so when you make the ATM withdrawal you may have to pay it back. I think they automatically send you a check when you’re past the 60 day mark with a negative balance. Also, it sounds like the OP isn’t, but don’t ever use it for an ATM withdrawal when you’re not on a TDY. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Doubt it. You’re allowed to use it for ATM withdrawals. The only issue would be when Citi cuts you a check for the negative balance you might have to pay it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks azimuth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So did anyone on here apply for fly only? Any feedback on the “program” so far? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The Air Force can’t plug the holes. They’ll attempt to expand production, and when that doesn’t solve the problem, maybe they’ll be able to get congressional authorization to plug the holes (stop loss). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. He’s right. The Air Force has shown that retention is beyond it’s capabilities. BRS means you can walk after your UPT commitment with something. They aren’t willing to/can’t offer higher bonuses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Also. I’ve only had one permanent DO who was an O-4, but he was an IDE grad an O-5 select. I know a non-IDE grad who got picked up for OSS/DO, but he will go to IDE 2nd or 3rd look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Good luck to you. O-4 seems pretty typical for an AMXS CC. I’ve yet to meet a flying CC who didn’t complete IDE in res. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Flying squadron? Did you make O-6? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Even when I went through UPT in ‘07, it wasn’t a high-attrition course. Out of the original 20 some, one self-eliminated (he was easily in the top half of our t-6 class, just realized it wasn’t for him), and two couldn’t get over airsickness. From talking to friends who are UPT instructors, it’s gotten a lot easier in recent years as the Air Force can’t afford to under-produce during a pilot shortage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Fair enough. I figured the load plans would usually be such that this wouldn’t be necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Especially since I don’t really pay for Netflix or Prime. T-mobile mostly covers my Netflix costs (I pay a couple extra dollars for 4K) and I use prime shipping enough that it pays for itself and prime video is just a perk. I wonder how the studios’ independent streaming services will impact the premium cable outlets. I’m sure WB movies will definitely still make their way to HBO, and Paramount to Showtime, but will Disney/Fox? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. How else would they download it? It doesn’t have a ramp like the C-5. Everything goes in through the front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apparently the vault is going away when Disney+ comes online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You are obviously overestimating how much “weeding out” goes on at UPT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Nice try Azimuth 2.0. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I agree that pilots should be compensated in the same fashion as doctors, but why not promoted at the same rate also? The promotion rate for doctors to O-5 is practically 100%. Over the course of one’s career, a pilot is (IMHO) tasked with more leadership challenges befitting an FGO than any military doc I’ve ever seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Didn’t work for me. Nsplayer probably got his to work since he effectively left and then returned to AD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Pretty sure they can see your financial holdings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Good luck to you. The memo was addressed to AFPC, but not ARPC. Might be an oversight, or it might apply to AD only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Great. They really need to just break pilots out of the LAF for promotion purposes. This is just Fingers not willing to publicly acknowledge that we need to retain pilots. Everybody is a warrior! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. This was from over 7 years ago. Took you this long to be outraged? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Like I said before, both of the guys mentioned in the article are scumbags and probably deserve the sentences they got. I take issue with the fact that the UCMJ criminalizes some behaviors that would not be illegal otherwise. Should we prosecute retirees for medical marijuana usage? It’s against the UCMJ. 25. It’s abhorrent that the Supreme Court denied to take the appeal. While both of these guys sound like total pieces of shit, once retired you should no longer be subject to the UCMJ. I almost wish McRaven would get brought up on Article 88 charges just to get a lower court (or better yet the Supreme Court) to set a precedent that one should not be subject to the UCMJ post retirement.
