  1. Hi all, In the past few years I have honoured to witness some excellent lowfly from the guys and gals of the USAF, and in turn they have recommend that I share some of the snaps with you here. Keep up the great work, and if you are ever in the position of planning a lowfly sortie in the UK and would like some high quality photos then drop me a DM and hopefully we can sort something out. Discretion assured, many thanks for looking, enjoy the photos.

  2. Too bad they don't fly 135's or B-52's through mach loop.

  3. Just got word I was selected by the AFRC UFT board 21-05. It sounds like results were sent to wings yesterday.

  4. Yup. Because I had a concurrent running ADSC because AFPC incorrectly dated my GI bill transfer and refused to fix it. Regardless, having seen behind the curtain now, I can speak with authority when I say "don't take the bonus". ...and I did. I got out as soon as I could...right in the middle of a global pandemic, at 17 years of service, while non-current in an airplane, and I haven't regretted that decision even once. So I say again: don't take the bonus.

  5. I'm tending to agree with you on Ricciardo. I'm also starting to wonder the same thing about Vettel. Vettel has consistently underperformed in comparison to his teammate for the last couple of years, so you can't blame the car... I'm also looking forward to the sprint qualifying. I can see lots of variables bringing a level of uncertainty and excitement to what is currently a very boring and predictable qualifying session.

  6. We need an ad campaign reminding people they moved here from there because they didn't like living there anymore so do not vote here to make it like there. I did hear of Texas voting stats that said the refugees from blue stats voted more consistently conservative than longer term residents.... Which is nice.

  7. SBR Form 1 took about 3 weeks from submission to approval through eForms. I’m shocked the gov could do anything that quick. All that to say the paperwork was a bit of a PITA to get together, but overall not too bad and totally worth it! Now to shoot this thing and hope it doesn’t blow up in my face (first AR I’ve completely built myself).

  9. I got hammered at the Hope Hotel restaurant on Halloween night after I failed my FC1. The bartender gave me a free drink because all the locals were dressed up in Halloween costumes partying and I was sitting at the corner of the bar solo in a sweatshirt and sweatpants with my hood up. I ended up going back a month later and passed, the bar tender remembered me and we both took a shot together to celebrate.

  10. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-03-24/9th-circuit-appeals-court-panel-rules-states-may-restrict-open-carry-guns TLDR: Plaintiff in Hawaii was denied a concealed carry permit under Hawaii law in 2016 which went to 9th Circuit who upheld the lower court ruling that he was SOL. So he applied for an open carry permit. Which this ruling denied. So, no 2nd Amendment right for him. And I have zero faith that the Supreme Court will take this on. Thanks John Roberts! But I really hope they do. Let's settle this once and for all. And God help us if the decision is that there is no such "right."
