  2. The real victim in all of this is the poor shlub who has to translate all of this into sign language!

  3. United announced today they are starting to hire immediately. Once all the majors start the train the USAF is going to see the pain that they are causing themselves. I just hope I bail before any type of stop loss is implemented.

  4. Most of us aren't "triggered", booze. Just disappointed and disgusted... and a bit saddened too... with much of this sort of thing. If you find it powerful and cool and relevant, so be it. I guess you're "triggered" in a happy way.

  8. Exactly. Spun in every round of practice, quali, and then the race itself. Passed people on an outlap he had no chance of outpacing on the quali laps. Just a real gem. Too bad they don’t air the GPDA meetings.

  9. New member here. Started in a PA-28 for PPL, switched schools and finished in a C-172N. Currently own a PA-32-300 with my brother and dad. We're looking to upgrade to a twin eventually but just dropped some coin on autopilot, Garmin glass panel, and some other upgrades so it might be a while. She's not as fast as a Mooney or high-profile as a Cirrus but she can definitely haul some weight.

  10. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-03-24/9th-circuit-appeals-court-panel-rules-states-may-restrict-open-carry-guns TLDR: Plaintiff in Hawaii was denied a concealed carry permit under Hawaii law in 2016 which went to 9th Circuit who upheld the lower court ruling that he was SOL. So he applied for an open carry permit. Which this ruling denied. So, no 2nd Amendment right for him. And I have zero faith that the Supreme Court will take this on. Thanks John Roberts! But I really hope they do. Let's settle this once and for all. And God help us if the decision is that there is no such "right."

  11. Look, those 13,000 illegal immigrant kids aren't being kept in cages. They're in "pods with bars." The media doesn't need to be let in to see for themselves, they can take the government PR's words and photos for it. The rising of gas prices only helps decrease the demand, thus lowering greenhouse gases. Which is good for the the Paris Climate Accord which is a treaty the Senate never voted on, much less ratified. But we're back in it, so there. Taking those pesky guns you think you have an inherent right to as an American is a small price to pay if it "saves one more life." Like in Chicago. Or Baltimore. Or Oakland. Or, need I go on? Questioning shenanigans and the changing/ignoring of state election laws mid-election is simply unpatriotic and a crime. And deserving even more of taking those pesky guns, so that you can't back up your protests with anything stronger than words. Which we can charge with hate crimes for using. All this, and more, in exchange for not being subjected to any mean tweets. Totally worth it. I look forward to more gasoline, err, high voltage being applied to the remnants of what once was a really good society that was always trying to get better. Almost like the words "in order to form a more perfect union" actually meant something and that progress has occurred since the founding and was likely to continue. Now? Let's watch the fire.
