  1. Copy, thanks! Looks like we are doing it the old way still.

  2. That's the method we used for most of last year, but then early this year we got told we had to start doing it the way Duck outlined.

  4. FYI for folks who are considering signing their life away to AD. Board due date should be July. Decisions released September.

  6. She's still running the show. My assumption is his CC has already talked to Cathy about this and has her on the lookout for a swap, but maybe that's an invalid assumption. That said for the OP, we only got one of our hires into UPT this FY; the guard is very slim on UPT slots. So, make sure you don't unintentionally shoot yourself in the foot and get your FY20 slot taken and forced to wait until FY21 for a Vance spot. Of course I don't know your particular situation, but I imagine you'd still prioritize UPT timing vs. location.

  7. Of course, I know what taciturnity means, but for those who don’t: - the state or quality of being reserved or reticent in conversation. - Scots Law. the relinquishing of a legal right through an unduly long delay, as by the silence of the creditor. So yeah, you know, being reticent dude. Totally. Which for the dummies out there means: - disposed to be silent or not to speak freely; reserved. - reluctant or restrained. So like when you’re disposed. Which means: - having a certain inclination or disposition; inclined (usually followed by to or an infinitive) Ok fuck I’m lost.

  8. You absolutely have a say in what track you want. You'll have some time to learn from instructors from each of the CSO platforms over the course of a few months of Primary and get a better idea of what you might like and what you don't think you'll like, then you'll put in your preferences to your flight commander. Then, depending on your rank in your class (based on tests, flights, and a flight commander ranking), and how many of each track are given to your class from AFPC, you'll be assigned a track.

  9. Agree on both points, and free time is something I don't exactly have right now. Also, paper trail is hard to establish when TFSC case messages auto-delete after a certain period of time. For the casual/inexperienced reader - make sure you screenshot/save every interaction with AFPC. You are the only one looking out for you.
