  1. Bag wearers need to stop rolling over at the whim of admin shoe clerks. If the reg is on your side, don't let it slide. If not, smile and take your test. Don't let feelings get in the way of doing what's right because this shit will just continue if nobody stands up to it.

  3. Don’t take it. Treat any extra pt test as a threat to your career, regardless of what shape you’re in What are are they gonna do, not PCS you? Time is on your side.

  4. Not sure why this should be limited to bag wearers...shoe clerks shouldn't have to be at the whim of...other shoe clerks either.

  5. Good Kill just reeked of stupidity from the trailer so that was a hard pass, but after my dad told me that he really thought Eye in the Sky was good, I gave it a shot. Big mistake. My alternate title for that movie is, "Two War Criminals and 25 Dickless Idiots Conduct an Airstrike." I had to apologize to my wife afterward both for making her watch the movie and also for having to put up with me ranting the whole time...

  6. His statement about how the Taliban are better than US forces just goes to show where his loyalties lie. He should rot in prison for the rest of his life. Considering the punishment in Article 85 for desertion in wartime is up to death, I think he would be getting off easy (sts) with life in prison. What a piece of garbage.

  8. Good insight and I think that's my gameplan. Appreciate your responses. I tread lightly because I'm an old guy in the wing staff and I know that eyes of the young airmen are on the Wg leaders. But I really just don't understand why the hell the AF keeps putting in place stupid knee jerk policies that cause everyone to flail. This "memo" I've seen once and promptly deleted months ago...and it looked legit since it came from AFPC. But what the hell? Oh, and despite a dozen searches on the internet it hasn't come up. It just resides with the Chiefs and AFI sticklers.

  9. Last I read, he agreed to a naked plea deal which means he pled guilty without having a sentencing agreement. I’m no legal expert, but the former mil lawyer they interviewed said that meant the evidence against him was strong. Then his defense team argued that comments made by the President during and after the campaign affect his ability to receive a fair trial and somehow that should result in a more lenient sentence? Like I mentioned before, what he deserves is a firing squad so he should be happy with life in prison.

  11. Yes, already happening. Seeing a fair amount of non command track O-5s headed to MAF bases. Timing really is everything.

  13. It's not ridiculous, because that's how the argument needs to be framed. The world does not have a "gun violence" problem, or a "Ryder truck violence" problem. It has a violence problem. Madmen commit violence. That's where we need to focus our efforts and our arguments. Madmen have used fertilizer, airplanes, fire, gas chambers, trucks, pressure cookers, bombs, guns, knives, hammers, and rope. The chosen method is irrelevant. Guns have taken on this bigger than life persona when they are simply tools. AR-15s are ideally suited for plenty of non-murderous tasks, just like rope is good for a lot more than lynching. If the locomotive of society decides that guns are bad, there's no stopping the degradation of our rights. But we'll simply find that when you peel away the "tool" layer, you're still left with a core of violence. The Brits are learning this now as they move to rearm their police. So as to the better idea, let's start with the family. How can we reinforce the family so it can serve as a training ground for acceptable behavior?

  15. Pretty sure this is not the case, anywhere. Driving the bread van doesn't make anyone a crew chief Giving 10% of them jobs (most of those jobs exist just so leadership can say exactly what you are) doesn't mean they're doing anything useful. Unless things have changed drastically, casual LT's are very much doing nothing for months on end Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
