Yeah...they don't necessarily make that clear to dudes at application time. The pitch "How would you like to go to a really awesome school, get a flight test job, then be a PM, maybe sit somewhere in SAF/AQ, and likely never fly again after senior captain?" may not sound that great.1 point

There are plenty of Enlisted people who have good/great records and can't get promoted. They're usually bad testers. That's were the STEP stripes come in, however if you're trying to file complaints against your leadership for EO/IG issues, then don't expect to get promoted.-1 points
