Help Topic: Create Album - Upload Pictures

Our Gallery allows users (where permitted) to upload images and/or to create their own albums to host images. Following are instructions on how to create an album and upload pictures in the FlyingSquadron.com Gallery.

Create an album to upload your pictures (users can create multiple albums).

1. Click on "My Controls" at top of page (new page opens)
2. Click on "Your Albums" on left hand side (screen to the right will change)
3. Click on "Create Album" (new screen opens)
4. Fill in Album Name & Description and check off the box for "Public"
5. Click "Create Album" (screen will show your album you just created)

Now to upload your pictures

1. In the block "Controls" click on the down arrow beside "Select an operation"
2. Choose "Upload Image" (new screen opens and it looks like a message box)
3. Type in a caption at the top and then any message in the big block
4. Click "Browse"
5. Your own computer folders will open up inside a box – you now have to find the
picture you want to upload and click on it
6. Click "Post Image"

NOTE: when uploading video files, maximum file size is 2Mb.

Users can create multiple albums - this allows users to separate or categorize photos.
