Thank God, I wouldn't want anyone to miss such an accurate analysis of yours truly!

But I tell you what, if anyone feels CCP/PYB was treated unfairly, feel free to post up a comment in this thread. If a majority of the people on here agree, I will reinstate his account and offer an apology. That is the democratic process in action, something he can't help but agree with being such a diehard patriot.

I promise I won't delete any posts unless they violate the first rule of the Squadron Bar established by Rich when he set it up, "Be civil, don't abuse it." I cannot promise NSA not doing the same...

This will also become a separate thread when I get a chance, it doesn't need to be buried in the Wilkerson one.

In Topic: Ramstein Auto Mechanic needed.

When I was at ETAR (95-99), the first used BMW 318i I bought the previous owner told me about a great mechanic in Ramstein village named Kurt Koprowski. I had two beater 3-series while I was there (the second was a 320i M-series), and he took excellent care of both of them.

Well, a Google search still listed him at Landstuhler Str. 32, 66877 Ramstein-Miesenbach; right next to the Thai Thai Orchidee. His number is listed as 06371/70724.

If she does look him up, let me know. It would be nice to know the guy is still around. Typical German, smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish; but a great mechanic and honest as well!
