My RA is telling me that AF mission planning tables, that are countertop height, no longer exist......I've attempted a quick search of comerical vendors and short of custom builds it seems like no one makes these tables. How is it possible that the AF has thousands of these tables, but no clue where they came from?

Has anyone worked with or purchased these tables recently?

Thanks

My last base had stuff like this: http://www.furniture...3&idSeriesID=41 Google "lab furniture" and you'll get lots of stuff.

My last squadron was going thru a vault update and the ASM couldn't find anything in the standard GSA pipeline/catalogs....eventually had to get a local cabinet maker to custom build what we wanted.

well, use them bars on your shoulder and ORDER the LPA to do it (sts)...

FWIW, we came up with all sorts of "morale projects" for the noobs to do that made the squadron both look better and function better. Make them put your squadron patch/morale logo/fun phrase on the surface, sign their work, and they'll be happy jump right in.

That right there is a huge problem with the punks now. If it doesn't get them personal recognition or aren't ordered by the boss to do something, they don't do dick.

Most of the tables in AFE are very similar to mission planning tables. Flat work surface with lots of drawers for storage space. Might be worth looking into.

Find some old crusty Major who has some woodworking skills that has no additional duties to build one after he finishes the bar. Oh, that's right he didn't have his Master's degree and didn't make Lt.Col so we kicked him out.

Maybe woodworking will be the next big push for stratifying.

If that's the case, then it's only a matter of time before the Eagle mafia takes over again.

Only if the budget cuts haven't shut down the woodworking shop on base.
