I don't think those 69 year old Captains are AAD complete and they seem to be enjoying life.

Pretty bad-ass video. Good to have you back on the board, Rocker. That being said, I think I'm going to start wearing my cunt cap under my headset... And when driving a convertible for that matter.

Did they really just use whatever four aircraft were available? No dedicated tail for their use?

Next time you guys go flying, start talking "old school" like that on the radio...that will really throw people off.

FIFY. Great flying in the video, but downgrades all around for comms.

The movie producers used actors, including one with a harsh nasal voice, to spout ridiculous dialog, rather than use the crisp, precise radio calls the Horsemen actually made. That was irritating, but what was particularly galling to the team was that most of the footage was shot at an altitude of 10,000 feet so the aircraft would appear against the clouds.

Good find - I was wondering about the goofy comms, which seemed like they'd been dubbed in to begin with. Leave it with the media/Hollywood to dumb it down and screw it up in the name of entertainment for the masses.

Yes, I saw that when I read the article. I retract my comment from earlier in the thread. I'm a heavies guy and even I wanted to stab my computer listening to that nonsense.

Strange, I think I once had an IP that started his briefs the same way...

Yeah, same here, this stuff is great. You get the sense that shit in the world just wasn't f*cked up like it seems now. Probably because there was no 24/7 mainstream media...
Here's one I've got the .wmv for on my computer - found it on You Tube as well just now:

I'd rather not see this thread digress into tit-for-tat social/political banter, but thank you for weighing in.

Yup
